beLIeVE it began with our own experiences in competitive sport. We saw how good decisions accelerate development, and how the wrong coach, the wrong pressure, poor timing or missing support can hold talent back.
Sport shaped the idea.
Paolo, Pietro and Davide came from different sporting environments, but shared the same observation: young athletes and their families are often forced to make complex career decisions long before they have the experience, network or professional support to evaluate them properly.
Our positive and negative sporting experiences became the foundation of beLIeVE it, not because every athlete should follow the same path we did, but because they should be able to benefit from what we learned.

An athlete's manager can't be only a former athlete. And can't be only a lawyer, a consultant or a business manager either.
beLIeVE it's founders bring together academic and professional backgrounds in business, law and management with real experience in competitive sport. We believe that combination is what management actually requires: the ability to read an athlete in their most critical moments, and help them push through to reach their real potential. That sensitivity doesn't come from one side alone. It comes from having covered enough ground, across business and sport, to genuinely understand the person in front of you.
Three different paths.
One shared project.
Paolo competed at ATP level, reaching a career-high ranking of around 1300 and living first-hand the demands, decisions and uncertainty of the professional tennis pathway. At 22, he stepped away from competition to focus on his education: completing a Bachelor's in Sport Management at the University of Bolzano and a Master's in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the same university cum laude. He also gained international experience in Denmark in the M&A field. He then completed a Master's in International Tax Law at Bocconi University, again cum laude. Paolo gained relevant experience in the tax & law field by working for several years in one of Italy's leading tax and law firms. His aim: give young athletes the experience he gained on and off the court, and help them reach the top.
Pietro played competitive tennis before moving into coaching, giving him first-hand insight into the demands of the sport and the people who support an athlete's development. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences and Marketing and an MBA in Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability at Sole24Ore Business School in Milan, and began his career in Milan in consulting at a Japanese multinational, working on marketing and communication for major international brands. He now works in tennis scouting, promotion and brand development for Babolat, in daily contact with athletes, coaches, academies and clubs. His aim: to use his combined experience in tennis, coaching, marketing and the sports industry to identify promising young players and support them throughout their development, building long-term relationships with athletes, families and their teams.
Davide competed in alpine skiing through his youth and later developed a strong cycling background. Like Paolo, he completed a Bachelor's in Sport Management and a Master's in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University of Bolzano. His practical experience also includes ski instruction, guiding and sports business, giving him a direct perspective on coaching, operations, commercial development and athlete-facing services.
Talent alone is rarely enough.
